OUR STORY
Grain & Oak began during one of life’s most meaningful seasons — the anticipation of welcoming our first child. As new parents, we spent countless days preparing for our baby, imagining the moments we would soon share together. One thing I longed for most was a nursing chair — something truly comfortable for those long nights, yet beautiful enough to belong in our home. But everything we found was either too bulky, too plain, or lacked the warmth we envisioned.
So, we decided to create one ourselves. We spent hours sketching, measuring, and refining every detail until it felt just right — soft yet supportive, simple yet beautiful. When our baby arrived, that chair became more than we ever imagined. It was where we nursed, cuddled, sang lullabies, and watched our little one drift to sleep.
Over time, it became everyone’s favorite chair — a place where Dad could unwind after a long day, or where we could simply sit together in quiet comfort. What started as a nursing chair soon evolved into a timeless piece made for the whole family.
